About the Mission:
Joseph M. Stone faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Navy from his date of entry on 15 September 1943 until his honorable discharge at the rank of RM2 on 31 December 1945. For his service, mostly on Medium Landing Ship LSM-25, he was awarded the following: Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one star, World War II Victory Medal, American Theater Ribbon, Asiatic Pacific Theater Ribbon w/2 stars.
We had the honor of attending Mr. Stone's 100th Birthday celebration in May of this year.
Please come out to stand for this American Hero who stood for us so that we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.
