About the Mission:
The family of Christopher G. Moran has requested the Patriot Guard Riders participation at his final military honors. Christopher was a proud US Army Veteran who served in Iraq as an Automated Logistics Specialist. Chris attained the rank of Sergeant (E5) and earned the following commendations and awards- Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal-Irag, Campaign Medal W/Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, and Overseas Service Ribbon 2nd award. Chris sustained injuries which led to his retirement and status as 100% disabled.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

We will stand a flag line at the funeral home for a dignified transfer to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.

Due to an expected 3 funerals arriving at Calverton simultaneously, please assemble at the main gate and see Mike. Please bring your own flags as we may need to divide to provide coverage at the concurrent services.
It is anticipated that the Combat Vets and Spider Riders will also be part of the escort from Maloney Lake Funeral Home. Estimated arrival is 11:15-11:30.
