About the Mission:

The family of Chester M. Sparling has requested the Patriot Guard Riders' participation at his final military honors. Chester proudly served in the United States Army, from which he was honorably discharged after 3 years of service. He is a Vietnam War era veteran and attained the rank of SP-4.

He later worked as a Supervisor for Con Edison until his retirement. A true outdoorsman, Chester loved fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. He cherished his country, and especially enjoyed his time with family and friends.

Special Information:

Please assemble at the main gate.The cremains will arrive in either a hearse from St James funeral home or a silver Audi driven by funeral director and grandson Curtis Dalsass. He was instructed to identify himself to the PGR upon arrival at the gate.
