About the Mission:
Mr. Sceviour served his country honorably from October 1948 to October 1952 doing three years and 8 months of sea service. He was stationed aboard the USS Catamount LSD-17 in the deck division and attained the rank of BM3. He was awarded the Korean Service Ribbon with 2 stars, and United Nations Service Medal. Upon discharge, he worked for Republic Aircraft and New York State. He was ordained as a pastor which he excelled at for many years. His favorite pastime was on his sailboat.
