This veteran honorably executed his duties to his country from February 1952 to February 1956. He went to class " A" school for Electronics Technician and served aboard the USS Everglades (AD-24), a Klondike class destroyer tender. He spent in excess of three years in sea duty and attained the rank of ET 3rd class. He was awarded the National Defense Sevice Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.
He earned a BA degree in engineering and worked for the ETO Corporation as a head engineer. The company did defense work, and one item they made were the "feet" for the first Apollo craft landing on the moon. He was always proud of his service to this country. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him for his service.
