About the Mission:

Albert J. Doerbecker faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Marine Corps as Administration Man (0141), from the time of his enlistment on 31 May 1961 until his honorable discharge as LCpl on 28 May 1965.  He earned Sharpshooter Badges on M-14 Rifle and .45 Cal Pistol.

It is time for us to stand for this American Hero who stood for us.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Escort from funeral home in Garden City will pass Honoree's residence in Point Lookout on the way to Holy Trinity Church in Rockville Centre.  KSU expected to be 8:15 - 8:30 AM

Second Stage - Special Information:

Mass begins at 10:00AM, but because of a long escort from Garden City Park and Point Lookout, procession may arrive earlier or later.  Please form flag line for arrival of procession and dignified transfer.

Following mass and dignified transfer, family will say their goodbyes.  PGRNY will escort our Honoree to:
