About the Mission:

Members of Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to help place wreaths on the graves of veterans in sections 30 and/or 68 in Calverton National Cemetery. Groups have been given a time block to get wreaths and then respond to a section given at that time. Patriot Guard Riders time slot is 11:15 am with Am Vets and LI ABATE.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Updated 8 March 2022

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

The wreaths will be in the assembly area where Memorial Day is observed. Upon arrival, we may have to first park in the grass lot before we get our wreaths. There is expected to be a very large amount of volunteers, so it is a matter of trying to make this as smooth as possible. I will be there with my vehicle with flags, so check parking area on left first. Wreath pick up date/time will be posted at a later time.
