About the Mission:

The Gary Sinise Foundation is sending WWII veterans to New Orleans to tour The National WWII Museum built in their honor . They will be accompanied by two high school classes that have been chosen to learn from these American Heroes. There will be a motorcycle-only escort to the airport where there will be a large celebration for these Americans to send them off.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

The escort will be done by motorcycles only.  Members in cages should respond to McArthur Airport directly. Be sure to bring flags

Second Stage - Special Information:

Once the veterans have been entertained and you have had an opportunity to mingle with them, we will form a flag line as they are brought thru TSA to the plane. They will be returning to McArthur airport on the 21st.

Bring flags for arrival of veterans being brought home. Flight scheduled to arrive at 02:10 pm. Motorcycle escort will lead veterans back to hotel in Hauppauge.
