About the Mission:

William J. Murphy faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Marine Corps as Combat Engineer (1371) from the time of his enlistment on 8 October 1969 until his honorable discharge at the rank of Corporal on 16 June 1971. He then completed his Reserve obligation on 22 September 1975.

For his service with Company A, 1st Engineering Battalion, 1st Marine Division, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/device, Vietnam Service Medal w/1 Bronze Service Star and Rifle Expert Badge.

His family requests Patriot Guard Riders participation in his final honors.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
