About the Mission:

This veteran served his country honorably with time deployed to Vietnam. He was attached to HAS Co, 2d Bn 6th Mar, 2d Mar Div. He attained a rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Vietnam Service Medal. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor this Marine.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please bring your flags to stand and honor Mr. Kurpetski. Family is scheduled to arrive at 9:30 am with prayers at 10:00 am. After a dignified transfer, the procession will pass his house and VFW Hall, which are close by, on the way to St. Johns Cemetery. Members attending this mission should all be at funeral home as the cemetery is close by and RCs Gene & Sue are quite familiar with the location. If they wish you to respond ahead, they will be able to give good directions.
