About the Mission:

This veteran started his career in the US Army from 1959 to 1962, and then was separated to the US Army Reserve where he served until serving active duty from10/11/1990 to 5/17/91. During this period he was in Desert Storm/Shield serving as Motor Transport Operator involved in the first convoy to enter Basra, Iraq. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon,National Defense Service Medal , Southwest Asia Service Medal, Army Reserve Components Achievement Medal, and Expert Marksmanship Badge Rifle M-16. He attained a rank of Staff Sergeant. The family requests Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor this American hero.
