About the Mission:

This veteran joined the Navy at 17 years old, and after 2 months 7 days the Navy issued a DD256N discharging him honorably as an erroneous enlistment. The circumstances were not spelled out on the discharge, but he had obviously wanted to serve his country. He was discharged from Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him

Weather report looks like heavy rain/wind in morning at this time. If you were thinking of MC escort call LRC Pete J in case of escort cancel.

The family will be arriving at 10 am for a final viewing. After a dignified transfer, escort will respond to Saint Joseph the Worker, 510 Narragansett Ave., East Patchogue for a 11am mass. After the mass, the escort will respond to Calverton National Cemetery.
