About the Mission:

This American hero joined the US Army in 2002 and was eventually deployed to Iraq as an armor crewman. He attained the rank of Sergeant, and was a tank commander. On April 5th, 2005 a truck loaded with thousands of pounds of explosives struck his tank causing him serious injuries. He spent approximately 14 years in Walter Reed Hospital and Northport VA nursing.

For his service, he was awarded Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Achievement Medal 4th Award, Iraq Campaign Medal w/1 Bronze Star and a Combat Action Badge. The family wishes the Patriot Guard to stand and honor him.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Please bring your flags and help stand for this true hero of America. Spend whatever time you can with Jim and Terry. This is a good time to show the family how we feel about their loved one and his service to this country.
