About the Mission:

John J. Walsh, Jr. faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Army Armor Branch from the time of his enlistment on 4 June 1968, until his honorable discharge at the rank of SP5 on 23 March 1971, including Vietnam service from 20 June 1969 to 18 June 1970. He completed his reserve obligation on 3 June 1974.

For his service as Track Vehicle Mechanic (63C20) in Troop L, 3d Squadron, 6th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Meade, he was awarded the Bronze Star along with Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 device, 2 O/S Bars, Marksman Badge Rifle (M14.)

His family requests Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of this American Hero.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Please stage at funeral home for dignified transfer and escort to St. Killian RC Church.  Mass begins 11:00AM
