About the Mission:
This veteran honorably and faithfully executed his duties to this country during the Korean War era. He served on the destroyer USS Samuel B. Roberts (DD 823) in the capacity of a Radar Technician. He attained a rating of Radarman (RD3), and rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class (E-4).
After his service, he taught math at Aimes Jr. High school for 30 years. He taught Jerry Seinfeld, the Baldwin brothers, and many more that became celebrities. He was married for 68 years. The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him for his service.
