About the Mission:
The family of Herbert Rosenberg have requested Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his final honors. Herbert was a WWII veteran of the US Army Air Corps and achieved the rank of Technical Sergeant as a Flight Engineer/Gunner aboard a B17 Flying Fortress. Herbert became a prisoner of war at Stalag Luft 17 when his B17 was forced to land in Denmark after receiving severe damage in battle after his 9th bombing mission. After 1 month of captivity he was freed by US forces and returned home. For his service, Herbert earned the Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal and the European/African\Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 1Battle Star.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
