About the Mission:

Gennario J. "Gary' Iorio faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Army from the time of his induction on 9 December 1943 until his honorable discharge at the rank of Corporal on 31 May 1946.  For his service as Clerk Typist (405) at Headquarters Continental Base Section, Bad Nauheim, Germany, he was awarded the Army of Occupation Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. His military records show participation in the Rhineland Campaign.

Mr. Iorio was a member in good standing of the American Legion Post 1132- Seaford, and a good family friend of RC Kevin Tirman.
