About the Mission:

Eugene C. Patrella faithfully and honorably executed his duties to our nation in the US Army from the time of his induction on 7 March 1967, until his honorable discharge on 12 October 1968. He completed his Reserve obligation on 6 March 1973.

For his in-country service with HH CO, 69th Signal Battalion as Power Plant Operator (52B20), he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.

Additionally, Eugene and his brother Michael Star are members of Vietnam War Veterans Association and have participated in many Color Guards.  Mr. Patrella's family has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his final honors.
