About the Mission:
This veteran honorably served his country, serving a one year tour in vietnam attached to Hq Co USAG FGGM in his specialty as a Pioneer, which is a construction engineer in civilian life. He attained the rank of PFC and was awarded the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Marksman Badge Rifle M14.
After his military service, he started his own paint contracting business and became well known in the area. The family has requested the Patriot Guard to stand and honor his service.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
After a prayer service at 10:30 am, there will be a dignified transfer. We will then pass the Marina where he kept his beloved boat, then on to Saint Patricks RC Cemetery, 4017 Main Bayview Road, Southold, NY, with an ETA of 11:40 am. Please bring your flags. Members who wish to only stand at the cemetery may respond to the funeral home by 10:30 am and will be directed to the cemetery while escort goes to marina.
