About the Mission:

This veteran honorably executed his duties to this nation from 1951 to 1956. Family did not have all his records, so confirmation of his service came through Calverton National checking military records. The family stated that he spent several years overseas, with 3 years of that in Germany where one child was born into the family. His rank and rating was not known to them.

After his service he was a Master Electrician for the Peter Mellon Company of Hunters Point, NY for 27 years. He then went to work for the family pool company and three years ago, at 90 years old, he was told by his son to stop working.

The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand and honor him.

There will be final prayers at 09:15 and after a dignified transfer, escort will go to St. Annes Church, 88 Second Ave., Brentwood, for a 9:45 mass. After mass, escort will respond past his home and on to Calverton, NY. There is LEO also requested for escort.
