About the Mission:

This veteran faithfully and honorably served his country for two years as a US Marine Corps Combat Engineer during the Vietnam War era. He was attached to Engineering Support Company, 2nd Engineering Batallion, 2nd Marine Division, and attained the rank of Sergeant. He was awarded the Rifle Marksman Badge and National Defense Service Medal.   After his military service, Allan served with the Nassau County Police Department from July 5, 1968 until his retirement from the Marine Bureau on September 9, 1998.  The family has requested Patriot Guard Riders to stand in honor of his service to his nation and community.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Please bring your flags to stand a flag line for family and mourners. Prayer service at 10am and then escort to Calverton National Cemetery.
