About the Mission:

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 34,000 additional locations, including Cypress Hills National Cemetery.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Time Tables (estimated)
10:30-12:00 Tractor trailer will be positioned outside of the gates and will not open the gates until directed to do so.
Please assemble inside the grounds and follow the guidance below on parking. If you arrive early DO NOT PARK by the building/office as it is limited spots and are reserved, for sound system, honor guard, and others. All others please park inside the cemetery grounds. During this time period once we have significant amount of volunteers present , a team will go inside to distribute the boxes. All other volunteers will line up and make a line to pass the boxes onto the volunteer next to them. Be aware these are heavy boxes (35lbs+) and if you cannot lift alone, work with a partner. The boxes will only be placed along the road and NO wreaths will be placed on the graves at this time.

Instructions prior to ceremony
• Do NOT Park in both sides of the road inside the cemetery. Park on one side to allow other vehicles and volunteers safe access. If possible, car pool or park out on the street. If you arrive early, please volunteer to tell incoming cars/drivers to park on one side. We need volunteers to ensure traffic safety inside the grounds. Remind folks to watch behind them and to be cognizant of the traffic especially with kids.
• Rain/Snow event. Dress appropriately.
