About the Mission:

Town of Oyster Bay officials have asked Patriot Guard Riders to participate in the Oyster Bay Independence Day Parade and Ceremony. The parade is only a few blocks long, roughly 1/3 mile, and the ceremony should be about 45 minutes long. Keynote Speaker is Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino, with special appearance by Oyster Bay resident, President Teddy Roosevelt.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Riders, please muster at Oyster Bay Community Center (address above.) Non-riders are welcome to stage at Town Hall Plaza for the ceremony (in front of 91 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay.) Please bring your clean 3'x5' US Flag for a flag line for opening ceremony at conclusion of parade.
