About the Mission:

American Airlines, together with the Gary Sinise Foundation, (Soaring Valor) will be flying 20 World War II veterans with escorts to New Orleans for a wonderful event in their honor.
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested to join in the sendoff and welcome home ceremonies.

Special Information:

We will stand a flag line at the Departure Gate inside the Terminal for the sendoff ceremony, expected to begin at 10:20AM.  Heroes will be boarding AA Flight #9702

NOTE:  If you intend to participate in the sendoff, I will need your Name/ Date of Birth AS THEY APPEAR ON YOUR ID, to secure gate passes. Second Stage - Special Information:

We will stand a flag line to welcome arriving heroes inside the terminal, but not past TSA. (No ID necessary).  AA Flight #9702 scheduled to arrive at 2:15PM but expected earlier.
