About the Mission:

The family of Cpl Jonathan Pluviose, age 22, and the US Marine Corps, have invited Patriot Guard Riders to accompany their hero to his final resting place at Calverton National Cemetery. We are honored to do so.

Cpl Jonathan Pluviose was serving with the US Marines at MCAGCC in Twentynine Palms, CA at the time of his passing. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Division, known as "The Balls of the Corps". He was a very devoted Marine and very proud of his service. He was well respected by all those that served with him, both above and below him in rank.

For his faithful and honorable service, he was awarded the following decorations and awards: USMC Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Stage at funeral home for the dignified transfer and escort to the church.  Early morning viewing will have begun at 8AM, so please arrive quietly and respectfully.  Mass 10-11 AM at Our Lady of Miracles; 757 East 86th Street; Brooklyn NY 11236.  Following mass, there will be a dignified transfer and escort to CNC.
