About the Mission:
The family of David G. Schwartz has requested the Patriot Guard Riders to participate in his funeral services. We have limited information on his military service. David served in the US Army from 1980 to 1983 in Germany.
David G. Schwartz, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 61. David graduated from Yorktown High School where he excelled in Lacrosse and Football. He served in the US Army from 1980 – 1983 and while he was stationed in Germany, in 1982 his son Justin was born. He retired from Local 279 as a carpenter before starting his own business two years ago.
David was a motorcycle enthusiast who collected bikes and enjoyed riding. He worked hard at everything he did and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will form a flag line for the arrival of family and friends for the service at the funeral home. After the service, we will stand for the dignified transfer, then escort to the Hillside Cemetery, 1033 Oregon Rd, Cortlandt, NY 10567
