About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been invited to participate in the escort of Purple Heart Recipients and the rally at the Newburgh Armory. The Patriot Project invites 1 Purple Heart Recipient and their guest from all 50 states and US territories, on an all expense paid trip to the Hudson Valley to see their National Purple Heart Hall of Honor. On Thursday 9/21, there will be a motorcycle escort from West Point to the Newburgh Armory, where a Rally to meet the recipients will take place.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Stage at the US Mint parking lot along with other motorcycle groups for the escort to the Newburgh Armory. KSU 6:00 pm. Escort will be led by the NY State Troopers and Orange County Sheriffs. There are still road closures in the area due to the flooding. Once at the Armory, Patriot Guard Riders will stand a flag line when the veterans are called into the Armory for the ceremony, which starts at 7:00 pm.
