About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family to participate in the Military Honors funeral service of SGT Rebecca Rios. SGT Rios served in the US Army for 11 years 6 months with 2 years Foreign Service. Rebecca was first trained as a Finance Specialist (MOS 73C20), then re-trained as a Forward Area Alerting Radar Operator (MOS 16J10). She received these awards/medals: Army Service Ribbon, Army Commendation Medal (2nd award), Overseas Service Ribbon (2d award), National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (3d award), Army Achievement Medal, Sharpshooter Qualification Badge M-16 Rifle.

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
PGR will stage at the Quickway Diner. KSU at 09:55 am for the 12 minute ride to the veteran's home where we will meet Rececca's husband. KSU at 10:15 am. We will escort the family to the St Joseph's Cemetery, 104 Cottage St, Middletown, NY for the Military Honors service at 11:00 am. A police escort has been requested.
