About the Mission:
The family of Melody D. "Mel" Burns has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence at her funeral services. Mel, age 65, Glenmont, NY passed on August 8, 2024.
A staunch supporter of our military, military veterans and first responders, Mel was involved with the Veterans Miracle Center, Capital Region Patriot Flight, and Tri-County Council Vietnam Era Veterans. She was the driving force behind the Veterans Miracle Center in Albany, and the Founder of Battlefield and Beyond. For many years you could hear her voice on TALK 1300 AM radio and WKIP in Poughkeepsie. Mel was also involved in 2nd Amendment rallies for years and led the annual reading of the Constitution in Albany multiple times. She met many great patriots through her activities and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Special Information:
UPDATE - Please enter the cemtery via the Main Entrance only and follow Bethlehem Police directions for parking. Members will stage graveside with a flag line during interment services. A large community turnout is expected, as well as police, fire and various fraternal military organizations.
