About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has once again been invited to participate in the Mechanicville Elementary School veterans Day Assembly.  The school staff have students invite a member of their family who has served or is currently serving in the US military to honor them at their program. The intent is to honor our veterans and to educate our students about Veterans Day and those who serve our country.

The grades K,1,3 assembly will begin at 10 am.  Veteran guests arrive at 9:30 for our hospitality room and to have their photos taken with the student who invited them. Your presence and dedication will add a greater emphasis and help show the students how important it is to remember and honor our veterans!

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

The CDC has changed its COVID-19 protocol recommendations for 2024, updating them to reflect the changing severity and transmission of the virus. Please click here for the latest information and continue to practice common sense distancing protocols while in enclosed locations.

Special Information:

We will stand a flag line in the entrance of the school for the arrival of guests until it is time to enter the assembly.  We will re-form the flag line in the assembly area until the ceremony is over. Ceremony starts at 10am.
