About the Mission:

We have been requested by the family of William W. Kegan to participate in his military honors funeral services.

William “Pops” “Bill “W. Kegan, 80, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Glens Falls Hospital with his loving family by his side.

Bill, worked for Decora from 1964, until the mill closed in 2003. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army from 1967-1968, with continued service in the National Guard for over 20 years. For his service, he was awarded the following awards: marksman rifle M-16, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2O/S Bars, and RVHCM W/60 Device.

Bill was an avid motorcycle rider. You could always find him in the garage working on any motorcycle he could get his hands on. He loved watching Western movies while eating his favorite candies and drinking his coffee, but most of all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Bill was a member of the Jury motorcycle club for many years before he took a medical leave of absence.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.


Special Information:

We will stand a flag line for the arrival of family and friends for an 11:00 AM service at the funeral home. After the service is over, prepare to provide an escort to St. Joseph's Cemetery in Fort Edward.
The cemetery is located on Burgoyne Ave in Fort Edward.
