About the Mission:

The family of Walter F. Weldon, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services.  Walter, age 89, died peacefully on June 1, 2025, at Rosewood Rehabilitation Center.

Walter attended Boston Latin School, and following graduation, continued his studies at Boston College. There he earned a Bachelor of Arts (magna cum laude) and a Juris Doctorate. Walter was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He later worked as an attorney for State Mutual Life Assurance Company of America for 29 years, until his retirement in 1995.

We will stage during the calling hours and stand a flag line until time for dignified transfer.  We will then escort to Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery for 11:15 service with military honors.
