About the Mission:
The family of Stephen W. Watson has requested Patriot Guard Riders presence during his funeral services. Stephen was 75 years of age.
A graduate of Tamarac High School in Troy, NY, Stephen served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. After completion of Engineering Equipment Repair School, he was sent to Vietnam where he completed two tours of duty. While stationed in Qui Nhon, Vietnam in 1966, Stephen was promoted to Private First Class (E-3) and was later honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 4th Class (E-4). For his service, Stephen was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of the visitation period (6:00 - 7:00 pm). At approximately 6:50 pm, members will reform inside for a final salute. At that point, the mission is complete.
Internment will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family.
