About the Mission:
The family of Robert Francis Marsh, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Rider participation in his military honors funeral services. Robert, 91 passed on Monday, June 20, 2022.
Born in the Bronx, Robert was the eldest of 14 children who grew up in Staten Island. He graduated from St Peter's Catholic High School and was a life-long, devout Catholic. After high school, he entered the US Marine Corps on 11 December 1951. He was trained as a Field Radio Operator (Specialty Code 2531), and was stationed in Europe and Panama for almost 13 months. He was honorably discharged during November of 1953, and for his service, was awarded the Navy Occupation Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.
Robert later studied at SUNY Oswego College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Technology on the GI Bill. He went on to teach industrial arts in Albany schools and later he worked as a technical representative for McKnight Publishing and Delmar Publishing selling industrial arts books. He would later return to education as a guidance counselor for Roxbury High School. He ended his working life as an employee of the New York Transportation Department.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests beginning at 09:15 a.m. Church services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 29 Delatour Rd, Watervliet, NY 12189.
