About the Mission:
The family of Richard C. Cook has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Richard, 94, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025.
Born in Glens Falls, NY, Richard was very proud that he had served in the US Army Honor Guard during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on 31 August 1954 at the rank of Private First Class, and for his service was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
His true love was farming, but he retired from Scott Paper in the early 1990’s, where his coworkers knew him as “Cookie”.
