About the Mission:
The family of Patrick L. Zucaro has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Patrick, age 93 of Troy, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany.
Born in Troy, NY, Patrick was a graduate of LaSalle Institute where he enjoyed playing sports. He entered the US Army during the Korean War on 15 February 1951, and served with Battery A, 526th AAA Gun Battalion as a Material Clerk (MOS 1821). He was honorably discharged on 14 February 1953 at the rank of Private First Class, and for his service, was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.
After his military service, Patrick owned and operated Zucaro’s Imperial Wine and Liquor Store in Troy for over 45 years. He was a past member of the Troy Italian Community Center.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last 30 minutes of the scheduled viewing time. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 pm, followed by escort to St. Mary's Cemetery, 2920 Tibbits Avenue, Troy, NY 12182, where interment with military honors will be conducted.
