About the Mission:
The family of Lee G. Olmstead has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral service. Lee, 75, of Mayfield passed away on June 1, 2023, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Gloversville, NY, Lee enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War era on 9 March 1965. He served on active duty for 2 years and 11 months as a Light Weapons Infantryman (MOS 11B10), including 2 years and three months in Germany. He was separated from active duty on 6 December 1968 and honorably discharged from his reserve obligation on 29 December 1971 at the rank of private. For his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter Badge (Rifle M-14).

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests between 3:00 - 4:00 pm. Military honors will commence at 4:00 pm, after which we will render final honors.
