About the Mission:

The family of Joseph John Kennedy, Jr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Joseph, 83, passed on Sunday, October 26, 2025.

Born in Troy, NY, Joseph was a lifetime resident.  He served in both the US Marine Corps and the US Army during the Vietnam War Era.  After the Marines, he entered active duty in the Army on 24 July 1967.  He served as a Cook (MOS 94B20), while assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Batallion, 66th Armor, 2nd Armored Division, at Fort Hood, Texas.  He was honorably discharged at the rank of PFC (E-3) on 6 August 1969, and for his service, was awarded a National Defense Service Medal and a Marksman Badges for both Pistol and Rifle.  He completed his inactive reserve obligation on 23 July 1973.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the last hour of Visitation, 10:00 - 11:00 am. Funeral service at 11:00, followed by escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors at 1:00 pm.
