About the Mission:

The family of James M. Mulligan has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. James, 91, passed on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

Born in New York City and raised in Jackson Heights, Queens, James joined the US Army in 1954.  He was honorably discharged when his own father passed leaving his mother with children at home.

After his military service, James became a NYPD police officer and rapidly earned the rank of Detective 1st Grade. He was especially proud of his work and his success. After retirement he worked for Designs for Vision, Inc. as VP Sales.

Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests. There will be a one hour Visitation between 12:00 and 1:00 pm, followed by a 1:00 pm Funeral Service. Following a dignified transfer, members will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
