About the Mission:
Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family of Geoffrey N. Fletcher to participate in his military honors funeral services.
Born in Flushing, New York, Geoff took classes at the University of New York at Albany. He was called to active duty from the US Army Reserve on 28 September 1953, and served as a Personnell Specialist (MOS 716.20). He was assigned to Detachment "A", HQ & HQ Co., 9224 TUTC at Fort Eustis, Virginia for the majority of his military time. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Specialist 3rd Class on 27 September 1955, and for his service, was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Marksman Badge - Rifle.
Geoff owned and operated a photographic studio in Kingston, NY with his elder brother, David, for many years. He also installed alarm systems and maintained a number of properties in the Woodstock, New York area after he retired from full time work.
