About the Mission:
We have been requested by the family of Donald C. Piper, Sr. to participate in his military honors funeral services. Donald, 93, most recently a resident of Slate Valley Center in Granville, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023.
Don joined the United States Army in 1951, serving in the Korean War. Following his honorable discharge in 1953, Don began his life long career as a truck driver. Don’s two sons, Don Jr. and Mike, along with grandsons, Shannon and Derek, proudly followed in his footsteps, driving truck for three generations. When he wasn’t driving, Don enjoyed watching baseball, and routing for the New York Yankees. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially while working together on his old Ford pickup.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Interment with military honors scheduled for 1:30 pm. Please stage quietly and in accordance with current staging guidlines.
