About the Mission:

Patriot Guard Riders has been requested by the family of Jerry Cochran to participate in his military honors funeral services.  Jerry Michael Cochran passed away Friday August 18, 2023 at his home in Summerdale, AL.

Born in Mounds, IL, Jerry was a 22 year veteran of the US Navy, after which he spent 20 years with the US Dept. of Energy at Knolls Atomic Power Lab in Niskayuna, NY. Upon his retirement he and his wife Diane sold their home and began traveling full time in an RV, seeing much of the country including Alaska. He also developed a passion for woodcarving, which he became very good at over the years completing many carvings for friends and family, the last of which was a large bald eagle.
