About the Mission:
The family of Chief Master Sergeant Gary E. Mackey has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Sergeant Mackey, 64, passed on July 31, 2023 after a brave fight with serious health issues over the past several years.
Born in Troy, NY, Gary was a proud member of the US Air Force for his entire career. He enlisted in the Air Force shortly after High School and retired from the Stratton Air National Guard Base in 2011 as Chief Master Sergeant, Security Forces Supervisor, after 36 years of faithful service.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for dignified transfer. Escort to Saratoga National Cemetery to follow, with interment scheduled for 11:00 am.
