About the Mission:
The family of Andris E. Beiniks has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Andris, 79, passed away on June 5, 2025.
Born in Markleuthen, Germany, Andris came to the United States where he graduated from Middletown High School in 1963. After graduating from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, Andris joined the US Army in 1969. During his 20 year career, his assignments included; Advisory Team 96 in Vietnam, 44th (Broken Heart) Engineer Battalion in Korea, Plans Officer in the Deputy Chief of Logistics, Headquarters, US Army Europe, and 9th Engineer Battalion in Germany. He retired from military service at the rank of Major in March of 1989. Among his awards and decorations were; Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal w/Oak Leaf Cluster, Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm and a Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal w/60 Device.
After leaving the Army, Andris worked at Breton Industries in Amsterdam and MVP before retiring.

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the arrival of family and guests at 10:00 am. At the conclusion of services, a dignified transfer will be followed by escort to Saratoga National Cemetery.
