About the Mission:

The organizers of the Town of Westerlo Hometown Heroes Program have once again requested Patriot Guard Riders presence at the closing ceremonies of the event. The closing ceremony will honor veterans whose banners have been displayed in Westerlo from May to November, 2023. Each Veteran and/or family will be presented with their banner to keep, along with an American Flag that was flown over our State Capitol, a Proclamation by Assemblyman Chris Tague, and a Proclamation from Albany County Executive Dan McCoy.

Special Covid-19 Mission Guidelines:

Based on the most current COVID-19 Prevention Guidelines: Protect Yourself and Your Family from COVID-19, and CDC Guidelines of 3 March 2022, going forward, the Lead Ride Captain for any mission will be responsible for determining whether PGR members will have to mask up or not. Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.

Special Information:

Staging at the church with a flag line for the arrival of guests. Flag line will reform inside for the ceremony.
