About the Mission:
The family of William D. Rieth has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his funeral services. William, age 87, died peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Maplewood Nursing Home.
Born in Caroga Lake, NY and, after high school, enlisted in the US Air Force. He served at Lackland AFB until his honorable discharge on 30 September 1958.
William returned home and earned an Associate Degree in accounting. He then went on to enjoy a long and prosperous career as an accountant and auditor for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance in Albany, NY. He was an avid member of the Ballston Community Center for a long time, where he enjoyed the various trips and events orchestrated, and made many friends throughout the years.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
We will stage graveside for the arrival of family and friends, and stand flag line for a 10:00 am service.
