About the Mission:
The family of Timothy Patrick Vadney has requested Patriot Guard Riders participation in his military honors funeral services. Timothy, 61, of Ballston Spa, NY, passed away on July 14th, 2022.
Tim was born in Albany, NY and graduated from Guilderland High School in 1978. He enlisted in the US Navy on 28 September of that year, and was trained as an Electrical/Mechanical Equipment Repairman (9760). During his service, he was stationed at the Naval Air Stations in Brunswick, Maine, and in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He was honorably discharged on 25 September 1981 at the rank of Petty Officer 3rd Class, with a rating of AMS3. For his service, he was awarded the Pistol Expert (.38 cal.) Badge.
After completing his service in 1983, Tim joined his father and his brothers Ed and Billy to work as a Dock Builder for Local Union 1456. Ultimately, he transitioned into a long career selling cars and trucks. He spent many years at Gendron's Truck Center in Troy, and was most recently the Commercial Truck Manager at Mangino Buick GMC in Ballston Spa.

Please ensure that you have a mask with you, should the need arise, and respect the LRC’s decision in these matters.
Special Information:
Staging at the funeral home with a flag line for the dignified transfer. KSU at 11:00 am with escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for a 12:00 p.m. interment service.

NOTE: If there is a service in progress at Interment Shelter 2, all riders are to stop and remain at the Solomon Memorial until those services conclude.
