| About the Mission: | The family of Sandra K. Huening has requested that Patriot Guard Riders participate in her military honors funeral services. After serving honorably in the United States Navy, Sandra started her long career as a Registered Nurse at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville, where she was Head Nurse of Maternity until she and her only child, Amy, relocated to Glenville. Sandra continued her nursing career for the next twenty years at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady and retired from nursing from Northwoods in Niskayuna. Sandra enjoyed countless adventures, especially many with her daughter and her granddaughter Sam. She accumulated adoring fans in her lifetime including from her childhood in Ohio, the Navy, nursing, neighbors and her daughter’s friends.
