About the Mission:

The family of Ronald Joseph Lagace, Sr. has requested Patriot Guard Riders' participation in his military honors funeral services. Ronald, 80, entered into eternal rest Friday, September 19, 2025 at his residence.

Born in Montreal, Canada, Ronald was raised and educated in the Cohoes, NY area. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force on 7 August 1963. He served for 4 years on active duty as an Air Freight Specialist (AFSC 60551), and was assigned to the 61st Aerial Port Squadron (MAC) at Hickam Air Force Base, HI. He was honorably discharged at the rank of Airman 2nd Class (E-3), and for his service, was awarded an Outstanding Unit Award and a National Defense Service Medal.

After his military service, Ron was a self-employed truck driver for many years. Prior to that, he had worked for Eaton Trucking, Matlock Transportation and Jones Trucking.

Special Information:

Staging at the funeral home with a flag line during the last hour of Visitation, 10:00 - 11:00 am. After a dignified transfer, members will escort to Saratoga National Cemetery for interment with military honors.
