About the Mission:

We have been requested by the family of Robert W. Beveridge to participate in his military honors funeral services.  Robert passed in Seminole Florida, surrounded by family and friends.

Known as Bob to his friends, he lived an exceptional life that took him from West Hebron's one room schoolhouse to the halls of Salem Washington Academy and then to Naval Boot camp in Bainbridge MD. His enlistment in the United States Navy brought him all over the world during very difficult times, not the least of which was Vietnam. He honorably served his Country for 22 years achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer.  Near the end of his service, he was stationed in Connecticut as a recruiter.

After retiring from the Navy, Bob went to work for the US Postal Service in Hudson Falls, NY.

Special Information:

Bob Beveridge is a friend who joined the American Legion Riders at our post, and along with me and 22 others, were the founding members of our Chapter. A wonderful obituary was written by his daughter Jenna who works at our post.
